Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you visit a site. Local storage and session storage are similar mechanisms but with larger capacity and longer persistence. Pixels(also called “tags” or “beacons”) are small scripts or images that report events back to a third-party analytics or advertising platform.

We group cookies and similar technologies into three categories. The third-party items listed below are only loaded if the corresponding environment variable is configured — if a row doesn’t apply to our site as you’re using it, the related cookies are not set.

Strictly necessary

• worktype.profile.v1 (local storage) — your name, email, and avatar seed for the lightweight profile UX.
• worktype.unlocked.v1 (local storage) — whether you have unlocked the full profile.
• Diagnostic / aptitude result keys (local storage) — your responses and computed results so you can resume and return.
• Hosting-platform session cookies (if any) used to route requests and prevent abuse.

Analytics

• Google Analytics 4 — sets _ga, _ga_*. Used to count visits and understand traffic sources. Google Privacy Policy.

Advertising

• Google Ads — conversion measurement cookies set on the Google domain. Google Ads cookies.
• Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Pixel — sets _fbp. Measures conversions and lookalike audiences. Meta Cookies Policy.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag — sets li_sugr, bcookie. Measures B2B campaign performance. LinkedIn Cookies Policy.
• TikTok Pixel — sets _ttp. Measures conversions and builds advertising audiences. TikTok Cookies Policy.
• X / Twitter Pixel — measures conversions for X ad campaigns. X Privacy Policy.

• In your browser. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies, delete existing cookies, or refuse new ones. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
• Global Privacy Control. We honor a valid GPC signal as an opt-out of advertising cookies for the browser sending it. See globalprivacycontrol.org.
• Advertising opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based advertising via optout.aboutads.info (DAA) and youronlinechoices.eu (EDAA).
• Local storage.Use the “Reset everything” control on the Dashboard to clear your stored profile, results, and unlock flag.

If you block strictly-necessary storage, certain features (such as resuming a diagnostic or retaining your unlock) will not work.
